Service Hours

Members are required to perform at least 20 hours of service per year 15 of which must be completed with CATS philanthropies to remain in the club. No more than 5 CATS hours per year may be earned via donations.
The high school calendar for service work begins August 1st through July 31st of the next year.

*For members joining after Freshman year:

We welcome new members joining after freshman year, but the same rule applies to complete 20 hours of service a year (15 of which must be completed with CATS philanthropies) to remain active in the club.  You must complete 80 hours before May 1st of your graduating year (60 of which must be done with CATS philanthropies) before you are eligible to receive a CATS Service Cord.

Seniors have to complete and submit all hours by April 30th of their graduating year.

If you sign up to volunteer and are unable to attend, members are expected to cancel any volunteer work with a philanthropy 48 hours in advance by contacting the philanthropy chair and finding a replacement.

No shows on a philanthropy are unacceptable and cause for probation.
